Job summary
As part of one of the largest oncology services in the region, you will play a pivotal role in leading a highly skilled nursing team, delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and operational management of our busy SACT Day Case Unit. Working closely with the Senior Sisters, you will coordinate patient flow, oversee the safe delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy, and ensure the highest standards of patient-centred care are maintained.
You will provide clinical leadership, support and develop junior staff, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and act as a role model for professional practice. The role requires excellent organisational, communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment while supporting patients with complex oncology and haematology needs.
