Role summary

This role is for an experienced Physiotherapist to specialise in paediatrics within the Children's Therapy Service at Basildon Hospital. You will provide specialist assessment, treatment, and management for children and young people with various paediatric conditions. The position involves developing advanced clinical skills, delivering evidence-based interventions, and participating in multidisciplinary clinics. You will work collaboratively with teams, patients, and families to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care and contribute to the assessment and ongoing care of infants with developmental needs.

  • Degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy

Paediatric Physiotherapist - Children's Therapy Service

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking to specialise in paediatrics and make a meaningful difference to children's lives? Join our welcoming and innovative Children's Therapy Service based at Basildon Hospital, with opportunities to work across Basildon, Southend and Broomfield Hospital sites as part of our cross-site team.

You will become part of a supportive, dynamic, and well-led MSE-wide team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants who are committed to integrated working, delivering outstanding patient care, and achieving the best possible outcomes for children and their families.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physiotherapist with a passion for paediatric care, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development. You'll be supported by experienced site-based Team Leads, an MSE-wide Children's Therapy Lead, and the Head of Therapies, while working closely with colleagues across children's and adult services.
