Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Registered Operating Department Practitioner orRegistered Scrub ODP/Nurse to join the Heavitree Day Case Team. The post holder will workclosely with the Day Surgery team to deliver a high-quality, safe service for patientsundergoing surgical procedures. This includes supporting the peri-operative patient pathwayand contributing to difficult airway management, with full training and support provided.

The post holder will be responsible and accountable for delivering care to adult and paediatricsurgical patients without direct supervision. They must adhere to Trust policies and proceduresand work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team within the Day Surgery Unit. Inaddition, they will be expected to participate in the training and development of students andother team members.
