Job summary

Southend Hospital is offering an outstanding opportunity for a highly specialised Echo Physiologist to join our dynamic and progressive department. As part of a busy teaching hospital, you'll not only deliver exceptional patient care but also have the chance to contribute to cutting-edge research and clinical audits.

You will perform both inpatient and outpatient echocardiograms with precision and care. Assisting in advanced procedures including transesophageal, stress, and contrast studies. Working in specialist clinics focusing on valvular pathology, cardio-oncology, heart failure, and paediatrics. We will support you in your professional development with evolving opportunities to expand your expertise. In particular this post would be of interest for a physiologist who has completed their BSE exam and is working towards fill BSE accreditation or a physiologist who has recently completed an ETP programme and is keen to develop their skills within a close knit team.

Main duties of the job
