Job summary

The job holder will manage the administrative and financial aspects of the ward and will ensure cost effective use of resources and deployment of staff. Current services comprise of the day surgery unit with overnight cover on Mondays and the management/service delivery of the Day Treatment Unit. The role requires direct management of approximately 25.65 whole time equivalent staff both registered and unregistered. The jobholder is responsible for the department clinical budget.
