Role summary
This role is for an experienced Bank Community Staff Nurse to provide person-centered care to adults in their homes, residential care, or clinic settings across Gt Yarmouth and Waveney. You will conduct holistic assessments, deliver nursing interventions such as wound care and medication administration, and support patient self-care. The position offers flexible shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, allowing for a good work-life balance within East Coast Community Healthcare's bank workforce.
Essential criteria
- Professional Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Registered Nurse Level 1 (Adult)
- BSc in Nursing Practice or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Mentorship / preceptorship qualification/ ENB 998
- Evidence of working towards a nursing degree
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge and competence within scope of clinical practice
- Previous experience of working in health care
- Recent clinical experience in community nursing
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working

Bank Staff Nurses are required to join East Coast Community Healthcare's bank workforce working across Gt Yarmouth and Waveney. Are you a Registered Nurse looking for more flexibility with the ability to pick and choose your own shifts?
ECCH is a staff-owned social enterprise, providing community-based NHS and social care services in Norfolk and Suffolk. We have contracts with the NHS and two county councils. At least 70,000 people are registered as service users with ECCH.
This is an exciting opportunity for Registered Staff Nurses to join East Coast Community Healthcare's (ECCH) bank database and provide staffing in a variety of community nursing roles. The flexibility of bank means it can provide the perfect work life balance and gives you control of the shifts you work.
ECCH operates 24/7 working which includes weekends and bank holidays. Example of shift times are:- core shift 08.30 - 16.30, early 07.00 -- 13.00, late 13.00 -- 20.00. You will be given the flexibility to choose to work the shifts that suit you.
