Role summary

This role involves providing direct patient-centred care as an Enhanced Care Support Worker within Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals are expanding their Enhanced Therapeutic and Observation Care Service (ETOC) and will be recruiting a number of Enhanced Care Support Workers (ECSWs)

Reporting directly to the Trust's Enhanced Care Lead we are seeking people that are able to work a varied shift pattern including long days, nights and weekends , in a variety of settings including Urgent and Emergency Care, Older People Services, and Paediatrics

  • Candidates applying for this post must be able to demonstrate within the application form the following essential criteria:
  • Recent and significant UK experience as a health/enhanced care support worker
  • Successfully achieved the Care Certificate
  • Level 3 qualification preferably in a health and social care related subject.

Only candidates that meet the above will be considered for this post, and we especially welcome applications from those with experience in a mental health care setting.

Successful candidates must also have excellent communication skills, excel under pressure, competent IT skills, and have a kind, caring and compassionate nature.
