A new and exciting post has arisen in the Research Development and Innovation Division of NHS Highland working across both NHS Highland and NHS Grampian.
A 36how 1.0 WTE Lead Clinical Research Nurse Band 7 post is available and is funded by the UK / Scotland VPAG (Voluntary Scheme for branded medicines pricing, access, and growth) funding to support the growth of commercial clinical trials across NHS Highland and NHS Grampian with an aim of achieving substantial increases in patient participation.
This post will act as the Lead CRN of the VPAG PERU programme for the North of Scotland. This Band 7 post will be part of the small team that is being established to support a new model of primary care commercial research in Scotland. This is called PERU – Practice Embedded Research Unit – which aims to support GP Practices to lead commercial trials as a hub with surrounding spoke practices with the support of the VPAG NHS
