Role summary

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate job evaluation processes.
- Support managers with job descriptions and role design.
- Contribute to HR policy reviews.
- Support the delivery of key workforce projects.
- Help with project planning, preparing information, and analysing workforce data.
- Support communications and keep project work on track.
Essential criteria
- Ability and willingness to successfully undertake CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management apprenticeship
- Five GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) including Maths and English
- CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice or an equivalent level of knowledge and experience gained in an HR support role
- Foundation membership of the CIPD
- Relevant generalist HR experience at operational level in a complex, unionised organisation
- Experience in delivering training sessions
- Understanding of current employment law and its application
- Attention to detail
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Time management
- Data analysis
Desirable criteria
- Associate membership of the CIPD
- Competent in the use of ESR and Healthroster Administration functions
- Knowledge of the National HR Agenda for the NHS
