Role summary

Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance to support the effective and efficient administration of the pharmacy department.
- Support the administrative work of the education and training pharmacy team.
- Provide high-quality, confidential and proactive administrative support to the Pharmacy Leadership Team.
- Manage the administration of the pharmacy eRoster.
- Support the team lead with the smooth running of operational activities by maintaining accurate records, supporting workforce processes, and assisting with service improvement projects.
- Manage complex schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle confidential information for senior managers and clinical leads.
Essential criteria
- IT skills, RSA Stage 2 level or equivalent.
- GCSE's C or >4 in English Language and Mathematics or equivalent.
- NVQ level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
- Experience of using a wide range of IT packages including Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience of data entry, analysis, and report production.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Excellent level of attention to detail.
- Literate and numerate

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and friendly person to join our pharmacy administration team. You will be supporting the Pharmacy Administration Team Lead and the Pharmacy Education & Training team in the administrative duties required within the pharmacy team.
The post holder will be a key liaison point for the department, so good communication skills are essential. Supported by the Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the team and will manage the accurate rostering within the department, as well as supporting the recruitment and on-boarding of staff.
Pharmacy is a friendly and diverse team to work within. The team manages how medicines are used across the Trust and offers a broad range of experiences to any applicant.
