Role summary

The EPR Analyst is a technical support role focused on maintaining and improving the Trust's electronic patient record system (Oracle Health Millennium). Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain standard catalogue changes aligned to service requirements.
  • Support the development and enhancement of the EPR system in line with Trust needs.
  • Assist in planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades.
  • Provide technical advice and support to system users to improve system utilisation and benefits.
  • Carry out system administration tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operation.

Essential criteria

  • Educated to degree level and/or or equivalent level of experience. Evidence of Continual professional development.
  • Supporting build and maintenance of Oracle Health Millennium solutions.
  • Supporting information systems.
  • Trust vision, values, and strategic objectives.
  • High level understanding of NHS systems and environments.
  • Proven knowledge of designing and managing highly secure and complex systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to ensure high standards of care, treatment, service or support as appropriate to your role.
  • Able to provide a customer focussed service.
  • Able to follow change control processes.
  • Able to quickly assess complex situations and provide practical and effective solutions.
  • Displays Flexibility in approach to work - ability to take on unscheduled tasks.
  • Strong IT and digital skills including Microsoft Office suite (excel, word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).

Desirable criteria

  • IT Related qualification
  • Good understanding of the patient journey and the key challenges Trust clinicians face with respect to use of an EPR system.
  • A working understanding of ITIL Service Management and Methodology Processes
