An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Endoscopy Nursing team.
The Endoscopy Unit at GJUH is a purpose built unit with 5 Procedure Rooms and 14 Individual Patient Pods.
The Unit performs over 9000 procedures/year. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic Health Care Support Worker to join our team.
You should preferably already have experience in a patient facing role but not necessarily in Endoscopy, as you will be provided with training to complete the required competencies to safely and successfully carry out the role.
You will rotate between the procedure rooms and the Pod Area, supporting the team to ensure high quality patient care is maintained.
You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to safe, effective patient centred care, whilst having a “can do attitude”
Good communication and organisational skills are essential.
Our Clinical Education team is on hand to provide support; from staff induction to delivering our month
