Role summary
This role involves leading regional community engagement plans for NHS Blood and Transplant to recruit donors and build partnerships. - Willingness and ability to undertake travel and spend time away from base to meet the requirements of the post (with appropriate prior notice)
- Willingness to work irregular hours and to travel extensively, including overnight stays when required (with appropriate prior notice)
- Successful track record of Community Engagement leadership at a strategic level within an organisation of comparable scope, size and complexity.
- Experience in a senior stakeholder engagement role and of developing, delivering and evaluating stakeholder engagement programmes
- Demonstrable commitment to diversity and equality.
- Extensive project management/lead experience, coupled with a specialist understanding of project management techniques.
- Experience of working with faith / belief groups in a professional or personal capacity

Job summary

As a Regional Community Engagement Manager, you will lead the delivery of regional community engagement plans that inspire people to become blood and plasma donors, and sign up for the organ, stem cell and bone marrow registers.
