Key responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload under the guidance of experienced Senior Physiotherapists.
- Deliver person-centred rehabilitation in both community and clinic settings, including patients' homes.
- Develop clinical reasoning and autonomy through regular supervision, mentorship, and development opportunities.
- Gain experience across Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Neurorehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation, Inpatient Community Hospitals, and the Falls Service.
- Travel between service locations and patients' homes as required.
Essential criteria
- Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (HCPC)
- Full UK/EU driving licence
- Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
- Knowledge of up to date clinical practice
- Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS
- Awareness of policies and procedures that may impact care /decisions
- Evidence of being able to manage a caseload / workload under the guidance of a senior clinician.

Our Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service provides specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for adults with progressive and non-progressive neurological conditions. Our multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, dietitians, nurses, rehabilitation assistants and administrators work together to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
We support people affected by stroke, traumatic brain injury, MS, Parkinson's disease and motor neurone disease, including those transitioning from hospital and those living with long-term neurological conditions in the community.
