Role summary

This role involves providing comprehensive medical secretarial and administrative support. The post holder will be responsible for typing and formatting clinic letters and reports accurately and efficiently. It requires flexibility, a pleasant personality, and strong organizational skills to support the team and deliver high-quality service to patients and staff. Advanced keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Job summary

The post holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive high quality medical secretarial administrative service.

Working as part of a team the post holder will be required to provide an efficient and effective secretarial service to the team, supporting the delivery of a high quality service to patients and staff.

Applicants must be extremely flexible to meet the needs of the service, have a pleasant personality and a positive approach to their work. Applicants must also have a good standard of education, be adaptable and have good organisational skills.

Sufficient medical secretarial experience and knowledge of the Patient Administration System (WPAS) is essential.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of role will involve typing/formatting clinic letters and reports from dictated materials, promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
