Role summary
This role involves managing, maintaining, and developing the Trust's estate infrastructure, with a focus on electrical services. Essential criteria
- Professionally qualified in an Electrical related discipline
- Degree in an Estate related subject or equivalent experience
- City and Guilds NVQ 3
Desirable criteria
- Diploma/Certificate in Management
- IOSH/NEBOSH
- Associate, or equivalent membership status, of a recognised professional Institution
- BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition.
- AP training (HTM or equivalent)
- Experience/Knowledge
- Management experience in the public sector or equivalent experience in the private sector
- Demonstrable ability of leading teams in providing complex multi site operational estates services.
- Demonstrable ability to understand financial management systems and effectively manage significant operational budgets.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of information systems and their role in managing the service.
- Ability to analyse complex data.
- Excellent knowledge of health & safety and risk management
- HVAC and wider building services knowledge.
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and minor works projects
- Operational understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Understanding of HTMs, HBNs, and NHS estate standards
- Significant demonstrable management experience in delivering estate services in a health care environment
- Working knowledge of NHS/public sector financial regimes
- Working knowledge of information systems which support Estate services.
- Understanding of the NHS Controls Assurance framework and experience of managing the standards specific to estate services
- Experience of working with service users and the public in delivery/development of health care services and facilities
- Excellent team member with the ability to maintain objective relationships with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience of building good working relationships with stakeholders including trade unions, professional associations and external agencies

Job summary
