- Ensure patient-related records are comprehensive, accurate and evaluative.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information, using effective persuasion, motivation, negotiation and reassurance skills.
- Demonstrate appropriate communication strategies when supporting patients, carers and colleagues where barriers may be present.
Essential criteria
- Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Previous NHS Occupational Therapy experience.
- Experience in Medicine and Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O).
- Commitment to continuing professional development; access to a car desirable for community work.
