Role summary
This role is for a Principal Clinical Scientist and Scientific Director within the Scottish Trace Element and Micronutrient Diagnostic and Research Laboratory (STEMDRL). The Scottish Trace Element and Micronutrient Diagnostic and Research Laboratory (STEMDRL) is a commissioned service by National Services Scotland. The service is both analytical and clinical interpretation for a range of nutritional and toxicological problems involving essential and toxic trace elements and vitamins for the population of Scotland.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated leader and suitably qualified individual to act as the scientific director and principal clinical scientist. The successful applicant will develop and support the complex analytical methodologies required to provide this National service.
