Role summary
This is a part-time (22.5 hours) Band 3 Team Secretary position within the Mental Health & Learning Disability Division, based in the Ablett Unit, Bodelwyddan. The role involves providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will need excellent organisational and computer skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team. Maintaining patient confidentiality and high standards of customer care are essential.
Essential criteria
- Good standard of education - GCSE Maths & English at Grade C or above, or equivalent
- NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent knowledge & experience, or willing to work towards
- RSA /OCR Level 2 or equivalent experience
- IT related qualification or equivalent experience

- Ability to deal with sensitive information
- Knowledge of a range of administrative & clerical processes
- Ability to take and transcribe succinct minutes
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.

Job summary
We have a 22.5 hour post within the Mental Health & Learning Disability Division for a Secretary to the Senior Leadership Team, based in Ablett Unit, Bodelwyddan. Working as part of the team the post holder will be required to provide an efficient and effective administration service to the team, supporting the delivery of a high quality service to patients and staff.
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for the position of a Band 3 Team Secretary within the Mental Health Department of the Ablett Unit.
The post holder will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Mental Health Team.
It is essential that the applicant holds Secretarial Qualifications, along with previous secretarial experience, excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and a good telephone manner. A flexible approach to work is needed to meet the demands of the service.
The post holder will possess excellent time management skills, be well organised and have the ability to prioritise workload demands to meet strict deadlines, whilst producing work to the highest standards.
