Role summary
This is a 6-month fixed-term, part-time role for a Sexual Health Outreach & Prevention Associate Practitioner within the iCaSH Cambridgeshire team. The post supports the delivery of sexual health outreach and prevention services, including Chlamydia screening and condom distribution. It involves working collaboratively to provide confidential services, deliver outreach to target groups, and promote sexual health awareness. The role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, and access to a vehicle.
Essential criteria
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (previously PTLLS) or willingness to undertake it
- Excellent organisational & prioritising skills
- Proficient IT skills Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with range of individuals, including underserved and under-represented populations
- Experience or understanding the need to work with diverse communities including young people
- Experience of preparing, planning and delivering targeted health promotion training and workshops.
- Experience of working effectively with different agencies in the community, voluntary or statutory sectors
- Other
