Role summary
This role is for a Urology Pathway Navigator to join the Urology Department. The successful candidate will manage and maintain the General Urology Cancer/RTT Service, including RTT Validation and implementing STT. They will have specific responsibility for Diagnostic prostate cancer pathways and support other Urology subspecialties. It is a busy, fast-paced role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Essential criteria
- English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent

- Courses / further study attended to demonstrate evidence of personal development
- Experience of managing and prioritising one's own workload and working to deadlines
- Experience of dealing with non-routine and/or complex problems
- Experience of appropriate interaction with all levels of staff and professional experience

- Understands the importance of patient confidentiality
- Strong aptitude in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Job summary
We are looking for an individual to join the Urology Department to manage and maintain the General Urology Cancer/RTT Service, including but not limited to; RTT Validation, implementing STT within a large cancer/benign service, working with CPG team to better the performance of our service. The successful applicant will have specific responsibility for our Diagnostic prostate cancer pathways and will also need to demonstrate flexibility to support other Urology subspecialties as required.
Main duties of the job
This is a busy and a fast paced role within the Urology department
The incoming post holders will need to have good attention to detail, be patient focus and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
