Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced administrator to join The Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a DILS Coordinator. The role involves supporting the Alcohol Care and Hepatology Nursing teams with daily service operations. Key tasks include administrative support, helpline monitoring, stakeholder liaison, audit support, outpatient clinic management, and data collection. The position is part of the well-established Gastroenterology Team.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the Alcohol Care and Hepatology Nursing teams with the day to day running of the service.
  • Providing administrative support within the teams.
  • Monitoring helpline and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting with audits internal and external.
  • Managing outpatient clinics and data collection and maintenance.

Essential criteria

  • GCSE English Language & Math's (Minimum Grade C / Level 4-9) or equivalent
  • NVQ Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent

  • Computer Literate including Microsoft excel and word
  • Willingness to attend training days
  • Previous administrative and clerical experience and working within a team

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, experienced and motivated administrator to join The Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as our Dudley Integrated Liver Service (DILS) Coordinator. Dudley Integrated Liver Service, DILS, was launched in late 2021 strengthening our well established Gastroenterology Team, working alongside our dedicated Gastroenterology Consultants, Specialist Nurses and administrative team.

Main duties of the job

The DILS Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our Alcohol Care and Hepatology Nursing teams with the day to day running of the service. This will encompass providing administrative support within the teams, monitoring helpline, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, supporting with audits internal and external, outpatient clinic management, data collection and maintenance and other tasks that are required as per the role.
