Role summary
Join a 16-bedded ward at Ilkeston Community Hospital providing rehabilitation, complex discharge planning, and end-of-life care. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualised patient care, ensuring privacy and dignity. You will also support junior staff and the Ward Manager in maintaining a high-quality healthcare environment. Newly qualified nurses are welcome to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care in the most efficient and clinically effective way whilst maintaining the patient's privacy and dignity.
- Provide advice and support to junior staff in the delivery of high quality care.
- Actively support the Ward Manager in the management of the health care environment.

Main duties of the job
Heanor Ward is a 16 Bedded Ward providing care to patients requiring Rehabilitation, Complex Discharge Planning or End of life Care.
We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals.
Our Team consists of Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Discharge coordinator and Ward Clarke as well as Housekeeping Staff. The Team is Managed by the Ward Manager and Ward Sister and is overseen by our Clinical Service Lead. Every member of the team is valued for the work they do.
