Job summary
The Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker will work as part of the Dermatology team, supporting nurses and clinicians in the delivery of high-quality patient care. - Support patients and provide high-quality care within outpatient clinics.
- Assist nurses and clinicians with clinical procedures and examinations.
- Record baseline observations, blood glucose monitoring, urinalysis, and BMI measurements.
- Act as a chaperone and advocate for patients during consultations and procedures.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure clinical areas are clean, tidy, and well-equipped.
- Clean, maintain, and safely store clinical equipment, reporting any faults as required.
