Role summary
This role is a key support position within the Clinical Systems Team, assisting the EPR Workflow Lead. Responsibilities include managing EPR accounts, providing user support, and maintaining documentation. The post holder will also provide line management to EPR System Support Analysts and contribute to 24/7 services.
Key responsibilities
- Management and creation of EPR accounts and related applications
- Providing a support service to users of systems
- Provide Line management and support to the EPR System Support Analysts
- Developing and maintaining key documentation to support processes
- General system administration duties
- Help to support 24/7 services within the Trusts working independently on-call
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- IT Qualification (HNC) or equivalent through experience/knowledge
- Experience of a variety of NHS applications
- Possess an understanding of data protection and confidentiality
- Knowledge and awareness of Information Governance and Data Protection - including but not exclusive The Caldicott Guardian
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex issues effectively at any level
- Experienced and competent PC user with good working knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to interpret policy into operational procedures and processes
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and deliver to deadlines
- Self-motivated, with drive and initiative
- Must be able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's values. (As detailed in UHCW's Values in Action document below)

Desirable criteria
- Experience of change management
- Experience of system management of a major Trust system
- Experience of working in an acute NHS environment
- Experience of a variety of computer applications
- Knowledge of EMIS system and functionality
- Knowledge of service desk functionality and use
- Knowledge of back-end applications within Cerner Millennium
- Ability to understand and interpret current and future state workflows
