Role summary
This role is for a highly motivated RTT Data and Information Administrator to support the RTT Validation Team. You will assist with the validation, tracking, and management of patient pathways across Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The job involves liaising with clinical teams and colleagues to gather, update, and cleanse data using patient management systems. You will ensure patient pathway information is accurate, complete, and timely, and support report generation and data query resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate effectively about patient pathways and validation to staff.
- Assist with applying outcomes to patients' pathways on patient systems.
- Work with information management principles, accessing and inputting data, and creating reports from databases.
- Conduct data quality reviews and audits, sourcing missing data to ensure accuracy.
- Cleanse data on validation databases and exercise judgment with data queries.
- Manipulate, query, and present data using Excel.

Job summary
Advert: RTT Data and Information Administrator
The successful post holder will be a highly motivated team player ideally with previous administration experience within a busy and demanding environment.
As an RTT Data and Information Administrator, you will support the RTT Validation Team by assisting with the validation, tracking and management of patient pathways across Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
The role will involve liaising with Consultants, Health Professionals, clinical teams and administrative colleagues to gather, update and cleanse data using relevant patient management and information systems. You will help ensure patient pathway information is accurate, complete and recorded in a timely manner.
The post holder will support the generation of reports, investigate and resolve data queries, and assist with outpatient and inpatient booking processes where required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and an interest in using information to support timely patient care.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
