Role summary
This role involves providing comprehensive secretarial, administrative, and data management support to ensure the smooth delivery of patient care. Key duties include processing electronic and paper-based information, coding clinical data, and maintaining high data quality. The Administrator will liaise with clinicians and external healthcare providers, using systems like ERS. This is a part-time position for a motivated and organised individual.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately code clinical information using SystmOne.
- Process patient referrals to external healthcare providers using the Electronic Referral Service (e-RS).
- Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the multidisciplinary team.
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls professionally.
- Support the effective use of the clinical system by undertaking searches, audits, recalls, and data collection activities.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and development activities.
Essential criteria
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Experience of working with the general public
- Experience of administrative duties
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
