Job summary

We're looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to join our welcoming team in the General Surgery**** Department. In this dual role, you'll spend 3 days per week working as a Medical Secretary and 2 days tracking patients on the suspected colorectal cancer pathway.
This is a varied role that will require attention to detail, high levels of concentration, and a desire to enable the smooth running of our services. We are looking for a full time candidate with the opportunity to work from home for one day per week.
Main duties of the job
- Provide a complete and comprehensive medical administrative service for allocated Clinicians and their patients.
- Ensure that correspondence from clinicians is typed, edited and sent promptly and accurately, and keep track of diagnostic reports to ensure that patients receive their results in a timely manner.
