Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and organised Senior Administrative Assistant to join the Community Mental Health Team in Hull. You will provide administrative support to practitioners and medical staff, helping to ensure high-quality patient care. Key duties include organising clinics, managing appointments, inputting data into SystmOne, and providing reception cover. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of a range of administrative work procedures and practices o
- Literate and numerate level 2
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge and experience of IT systems (S1) o
- Experience of organising clinics and appointments
- Problem solving skills / Deal with queries
- Make improvements to admin procedures & processes when necessary
- Supervision of other less experienced staff
- Experience of using Trust IT Systems - e.g. System One, ESR, Oracle.
- Experience of use of Microsoft Teams.
- Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent/Advanced ECDL
- Good standard of maths/english (level 2)
- NVQ level 3
- Advanced EDCL
- Personal attributes
- Able to demonstrate inter-personal communication skills effectively
- Able to deal with difficult and challenging situations
- Ability to multi task and work under pressure and to deadlines
- Environment
- Light physical effort required for lifting stationery, files, sitting at a reception desk.
