Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Community Outpatient Physiotherapy Services, primarily based at Friarage Hospital Northallerton and other community venues. Essential criteria

  • oCan demonstrate relevant/ varied post-graduate experience across a variety of clinical areas at Band 5 level

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to work as part of the Community Outpatient Physiotherapy Services . Clinically you will work in the Physiotherapy Department at the Friarage Hospital Northallerton and Community Outpatient Venues across H & R and Tees. Time will be split roughly 50:50 across H & R and Tees.

This is a Fixed Term Contract and secondment opportunities for current University Hospitals Tees (UHT) staff will be considered but they must seek approval from their current manager before applying.

The service receives referrals from many sources including Consultants and GPs and operates from a number of different venues.

Applications are invited from Physiotherapists who have post graduate experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy as well as an interest and enthusiasm in this field. The team is friendly and supportive and senior specialists offer clinical supervision and support.

Successful applicants will be part of the Physiotherapy Service in the Trust and there are opportunities for case discussions and an In-Service Training Programme. Staff are also supported in their continuous professional development through clinical supervision. Participation in audit and research is encouraged
