- Communicating efficiently and professionally both verbal and written, updating, involving your surrounding team with changes occurring throughout your shift

Essential criteria
- NMC Registered (Level 1) Adult Nursing.
- Evidence of meeting revalidation, specialist surgical skills and mandatory training requirements
- Knowledge of clinical governance and how they are key in-patient safety and assessing risk
Desirable criteria
- Interest in or experience of specialist surgery: Trauma and Orthopaedics
- oAwareness of the NHS plan and current initiatives that affect us particularly in the south west peninsular

Ainslie Ward is a 26-bedded trauma unit providing care for patients with a wide range of injuries, many of whom require surgical intervention. You will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals, demonstrating autonomy, professionalism, and effective clinical decision-making within the ward environment.
