Key responsibilities

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with a supervising clinician, considering mental, physical, and social circumstances.
- Administer medication alongside a supervising clinician, ensuring compliance with protocols.
- Document and maintain accurate clinical records within the trust's electronic system.

Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the MDT to support the delivery of excellent clinical outcomes, assessment and treatment within our older adult inpatient services under the direction of a qualified clinician. The role of the Nurse Associate is to support our clinicians and to provide quality nursing care and promote best practice. You will support the growth of students and new employees and actively contribute towards the development of Older Adult services
Main duties of the job
The Nurse Associate role is suitable for someone who is passionate and committed to providing excellent, high quality, recovery focused care to older adults in our inpatient service. You should be confident in the delivery of holistic care planning, involving our service users and enabling them to make independent choices. You will also be willing to work closely with families and carers where possible to support the pathway to recovery. You will have an aspiration fordeveloping your clinical nursing career.
