Job summary
The Respiratory Research Team is recruiting!
The Research and Innovation Department is continuing its exciting expansion. We have several research specialities and the Respiratory Research Portfolio is looking for 2 Clinical Trials Assistants. They are both full time posts (1.0 WTE), fixed term contracts due to associated funding. One post is for 16 months, one for 14 months. Your primary site will be SJUH, but you will be predominantly required to work across Leeds, remotely and visiting patients in their homes.
The post holder will contribute actively to the conduct, coordination, and delivery of the Yorkshire Cancer Research funded YorQuit study , working alongside the Respiratory research and the Lung screening teams. The main tasks are: Patient approach and recruitment, visiting patients at home for data and assessments, data inputting , co-ordinating patient follow ups as per protocol and research governance. A driving license and access to own car is essential.
In addition of being responsible for ensuring that high standards of trial delivery, patient safety, and patient satisfaction are maintained, compliance with Trust policy, study protocol requirements, GCP and local and national guidance and legislation is required.
