Role summary

This role supports the Cardiac Catheter Lab Service, assisting in the provision of an efficient radiology service and driving service improvement. Essential criteria

  • BSc Diagnostic Radiographer (or equivalent)
  • HCPC registered
  • PPCI experience

Desirable criteria

  • Immediate Life Support
  • Higher Professional qualification/Masters level
  • Ability to carry out radiographic procedures to a high standard
  • Considerable Band 5 Radiographer experience with a sound clinical knowledge of radiography and/or fluoroscopy and/or cross section
  • Sound knowledge of ionising radiation legislation
  • PPCI service experience
  • Experience of stock control
  • Specific expertise in relevant cardiac cathlab modalities
  • BSc Diagnostic Radiographer (or equivalent)
