Role summary
This role is for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator in the Endoscopy department, working across Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary. The department is fast-paced and requires excellent communication skills under pressure. The position involves cross-site working and rotational Saturday shifts. The successful candidate will contribute to a hardworking team environment.
Essential criteria
- Educated to GCSE Maths & English level A-D or equivalent
- Motivation to develop the role and themselves within the role

- Minimum of RSA II typing / Word processing skills or equivalent
- KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
- Good keyboard skills
- Experience booking appointments
- Knowledge of medical terminology, preferably in the field of Endoscopy
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel
- Experience of dealing with the public within a reception area
- Previous NHS experience
- Experience of managing a waiting list
- Experience of working with EPR

Job summary
37.5 hours per week, cross site working between HRI and CRH.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrator to work in the Endoscopy department at the Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
Endoscopy is a hardworking department with a strong sense of teamwork and you must be able to show that you are able to work as part of a team.
The department is fast paced, therefore the candidate we are looking for will need to posses excellent communication skills while working under pressure.
The role will involve cross site working and Saturdays on a rotational basis.
