Role summary

This role is for a positive and enthusiastic Clinical Support Worker to join the Imaging Team on a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months. You will support professional staff with patient care and administrative tasks across various areas like Ultrasound, CT, Emergency Department, and MRI. The position involves preparing patients for procedures, maintaining records, and contributing to a high-quality imaging service. Comprehensive training and a flexible working environment are offered.

Essential criteria

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health-related subject/Care Certificate
  • Trained in cannulation, venepuncture and Point of Care Testing (POCT)

Desirable criteria

  • Demonstrable commitment to personal and professional development
  • Previous experience as a care assistant in a NHS or private health care environment
  • Experience of working in an Imaging Department
  • Key Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible in their approach to work
  • Basic IT and keyboard skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and co-ordinate own work and that of others
  • CRIS & PACS
  • An understanding of confidentiality and accountability and what this means
  • Education & Qualifications
