Role summary
This role is for a Development Recovery Worker within the No Wrong Door, Co-occurring Conditions Team, focusing on clients with substance use and mental health conditions. Key responsibilities

Essential criteria
- Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent in a related field which may include counselling, social work, nursing, psychology, human resources, social studies Or Equivalent experience
- A commitment to recovery based interventions and harm reduction approaches for substance use and mental health conditions.
Desirable criteria
- Relevant training / Qualification in associated field, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Brief solution focussed therapy, Mapping techniques (ITEP/BTEI)

The disconnect between services for people with co-occurring conditions of mental ill-health and substance use has long been recognised as a barrier to the effective treatment of patients in the community. Significant funding has now been allocated to make this a thing of the past
