Key responsibilities
- Provide a Social Work Service to a defined patient caseload and their families and carers.

- Conduct Child access assessments in a timely manner.
- Plan and arrange subsequent mental health care based on identified needs.
- Lead and possess a full understanding of the discharge process in low secure settings.
- Deliver supervision to more junior members of staff.
Essential criteria
- Registered Social Worker with relevant professional registration with Social Work England.
- Extensive Knowledge of MHA including Part 2 and Part 3
- Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of current Social Work practice
- Commitment to enhancing own knowledge and skills through continued professional development

Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in line with data quality guidance, legislation, and policy.
