Role summary
This role is for a dedicated Band 5 Theatre Scrub Nurse/Practitioner to join the Theatre team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will provide safe and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, working across both Main and Day Surgery Theatre suites. Responsibilities include preparing the operating theatre, assisting surgeons, and working autonomously in the pre-operative setting. The role requires commitment to providing excellent patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 5 Theatre Scrub Nurse/Practitioner to join our Theatre team and play a vital role in providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures at Homerton.
This is an exciting time at Homerton, we have just opened our two new Day Surgery Theatres and have recently gotten a second Da Vinci Robot for theatres.The role will cover both Main and Day Surgery Theatre suites.
We are looking for applicants who are committed and motivated to provide excellent care to the patients of City and Hackney and join part of the Multidisciplinary Team.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients by assessing care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating them without supervision.
- The role demands the flexibility of being able to work across all specialities carried out within the department.
