Role summary
This role is for a Project Delivery Officer to support mental and physical health transformation initiatives within the Goodall Division of Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The officer will provide essential administrative support to project and business managers, coordinating and driving discrete projects. This involves utilising project management principles and working collaboratively with various teams and partners to deliver the NHS 10 Year Plan priorities.

- Knowledge & Experience
- Project delivery experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health
- Experience of change management processes and methods acquired through training or experience
- Experience of working with groups of staff and patients across health communities, including working with senior clinicians and healthcare leaders
- Competent with software packages (e.g. MS Excel, Project, Visio etc.)
- Able to use collaboration software (e.g. MS Teams, Zoom etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health and learning disabilities transformational priorities set out in the NHS 10 Year Plan
- Knowledge and understanding of national, regional and local requirements to continuously improve quality and safety within mental health and learning disabilities services
- Experience of project management from initial design to completion
- Experience working within the NHS
- Skills & Abilities
- Strong organisational and planning skills. Able to deliver agreed objective within an agreed timeframe
- Team working skills - able to work as a key member of small teams to achieve results, including able to encourage collaborative working to improve services and performance particularly where there is resistance to change
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to present complex project plans at an appropriate level for the audience concerned
- Highly self-motivated. Sets themselves and helps others to set ambitious goals.
- Able to manage and relate complex and highly sensitive information to all levels of staff within the organisation
- Good communicator, able to influence and resolve issues with key stakeholders
- Flexible with ability to adapt and implement ideas in diverse situations
- Ability to write clear and concise documents.
- Evidence of financial/budgetary management and monitoring skills

We are looking for a values-led, compassionate and capable Project Delivery Officer, with a demonstrable commitment to improving and supporting children and young people's mental and physical health. This post will work across the Goodall Division within Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) which provides a range of community mental health and physical health services.
