Role summary
This role is for an experienced and highly motivated Bank Registered Midwife to provide flexible support to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's maternity services at St Mary's Hospital and Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital. The successful candidate will deliver patient-centred care, maintain high standards, and efficiently manage patients within the teaching hospitals. The Trust assists with almost 9000 births per year and supports high-risk births with high dependency and Neonatal units. This is an opportunity to work across specialities within midwifery.
Key responsibilities
- To maintain a professional manner at all times, developing the role of the midwife in the best interests of the profession and the client in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and Trust Policies.
- Provide and perform accurate assessments and procedures during antenatal appointments, labour care and in the postnatal period.
- Be dedicated to deliver a first-class service and be flexible to work across specialities within midwifery.

- NMC Registered (Midwifery)
- A minimum of 1 year working as a Band 6 Midwife within the NHS

Imperial College NHS Trust provide maternity services at St
Marys Hospital and Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital and assist with almost
9000 births per year and have a high dependency and Neonatal units to support
the centres for any high-risk births. Both sites also cater to private patients.
Successful candidates will be able to support the team to provide
patient centred care, maintain high care delivery standards and efficient, safe
management of patients within Imperial Teaching Hospitals.
