Role summary
This role is for a motivated and experienced Band 6 MRI Radiographer to join the team at Wembley Community Diagnostic Centre. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of MRI scanning procedures, including neuro, renal, hepatobiliary, and gynaecological imaging, ensuring high standards of patient care. Essential criteria
- BSc (Hons) Radiography, DCR (D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent.
- HCPC registration

- Post graduate study
- Up -to-date knowledge of general imaging techniques.
- Experience of working unsupervised.
- Awareness of clinical governance issues in relation to patient care
- Knowledge of developments within the profession.
- Experience of working with cross-sectional imaging.
- Experience of training staff and students
- Previous experience, at least, band 6 level.
- MRI experience
- Demonstrate written communication skills, computer and other relevant IT skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives and multidisciplinary team member
- Ability to work flexibly to meet service requirements
- Basic teaching, counselling and supervisory skills.
- IV injecting skills
