Role summary
This is an entry-level Theatre Healthcare Support Worker role within the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Key responsibilities
- Assist and support theatre staff and the multi-disciplinary team in providing safe, effective, and efficient patient care.
- Undertake movement of patients, cleaning, and theatre circulating duties.
- Work flexibly as part of a team and practice in accordance with Trust standards.
- Move patients on trolleys and reassure family members.
- Prepare patients for anaesthetic and set out instruments/equipment for surgery.
- Ensure the department has necessary stock items and clean/tidy theatre areas after surgery.
