Role summary

This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a registered nurse to join the nursing informatics team as an ePMA Nurse. The role involves supporting the development of the electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) system across the Health Board. You will work collaboratively with clinical teams, pharmacy, and digital specialists to ensure the system is safe, effective, and meets patient and staff needs. Essential criteria

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative registered nurse to join the nursing informatics team as an ePMA Nurse on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a nurse with a passion for digital healthcare, medicines optimisation, and improving patient safety through technology.

You will support the ongoing development of the ePMA system across the Health Board and will work collaboratively with clinical teams, pharmacy colleagues, digital specialists, and operational services to ensure the system is safe, effective, and meets the needs of patients and staff.

Main duties of the job

Provide support to clinical staff, promoting confidence and competence in using the system.

Investigate and resolve system issues, working closely with Digital Services and Pharmacy teams.

Participate in systemupgrades, user acceptancetesting, and changemanagement activities.

Monitor system performanceand identify opportunitiesfor continuous improvement.

Promote best practice in electronic prescribing and medicines administration to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
