Role summary
This is a training opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist interested in pelvic health. The role is fixed-term for 12 months and focuses on developing skills within a team of highly skilled pelvic physiotherapists. The successful applicant will gain experience in all areas of pelvic health, with the potential to apply for a Band 6 post upon successful completion of competencies. Responsibilities include supporting assistants and students, and managing an outpatient caseload covering various pelvic health conditions.
Essential criteria
- oBSC Honours degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- oRegistered Physiotherapist with the Health Professionals Council.
- oEvidence of continued professional development through self-directed learning and in-service training record.

- oMember of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- oAbility to manage own caseload
- oGood clinical, planning and evaluation skills
- oTime management skills
- oEffective communication skills
- IT skills

This post is a training opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 5, Physiotherapist who is keen to develop their pelvic health physiotherapy skills. The full-time post in pelvic health is not rotational and initially fixed term for 12 months, allowing a unique opportunity to work within a team of highly skilled pelvic physiotherapists gaining experience in all areas of pelvic health. Successful completion of all competencies will facilitate the post holder to apply for uplift to a specialist pelvic physiotherapist Band 6 post when one is available.
