Role summary

This is a newly created full-time Band 5 Mental Health Homeless Nurse position within the Manchester Mental Health and Homeless Team. The role involves providing engagement and assessment to clients with complex mental health and dual diagnosis needs, particularly homeless individuals not engaged with mainstream services. Job summary

We are excited to offer a newly created, full-time position of Band 5 Mental Health Homeless Nurse (RMN) within the Manchester Mental Health and Homeless Team.

We would welcome applications from newly qualified nurses or existing Band 5 nurses who would like to broaden their community nursing experience.

This is the first time there has been a Band 5 post within the Manchester Mental Health Homeless Team and therefore the role will be developed alongside and supporting the post holder's development needs. The post holder will be fully supported via the trust preceptorship package if required, alongside intensive support from the senior team and wider multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder will be supported by a team of band 6 practitioners to develop their own knowledge and skills with our service users, using the combined model of assertive outreach and inclusion health. You will be closely supervised to hold a caseload of individuals within your scope of competence.
