Role summary

This role is for a highly motivated Staff Nurse to join the Nursing Teams on Cashes Green Ward. Essential criteria

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

  • Demonstrable skills in risk assessment and management
  • Ability to administer medication and treatment within NMC guidelines and POPAM
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the following: . General Medical Care . Elderly Care . Rehabilitation . Orthopaedic Care . Social Care . Wound Management
  • Ability to support and supervise HSCW and other members of the team
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the service (e.g. shift work) and participate in hospital cover on a rotation basis

Job summary

This role is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

We have opportunities for a highly motivated individual to join our Nursing Teams on Cashes Green Ward.

We are looking for nurses with passion and commitment who hold patient experience and care at the heart of their nursing practice and who shares our organisational values. In return we will offer you day to day support along with excellent training and a real commitment to your personal development plan with opportunities for continued professional development and study.

As part of the nursing team you would work closely with the wider Multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Physiotherapists, allowing the care we deliver to be holistic and patient centred, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality care to our patients.

The successful candidate will be expected to work both day and night shifts, the timings are as followed:

Early shift 0715 - 1515

Late shift 1315 - 2115

Night shift 2045 - 0745
