Role summary
This is an opportunity for a Band 5 Paediatric Nurse to work on the Paediatric Assessment Unit at Queen's Hospital Burton and in the Children's Emergency Department at the Royal Derby Hospital. The role involves providing urgent and emergency care to children aged 0-18 years, working as part of a nursing and medical team. Responsibilities include triaging, prioritising medical needs, and involvement in various aspects of care such as resuscitation and minor injury management. The post requires cross-site working and a variety of shifts, including nights and bank holidays.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated registered children's nurses to work within Paediatric Urgent Care.
Bot PAU and CED provides emergency and urgent care to children in and around Derby and surrounding areas from birth to 18 years. It consists of a Children's Emergency Department and Paediatric Observation Unit at Royal Derby Hospital, the Paediatric Assessment Unit and ED cover at Queen's Hospital Burton.
