Role summary

Key responsibilities

Essential criteria

  • HNC technical level qualification in electrical or mechanical craft discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Recognised time served apprenticeship
  • Experience of workload assessments and allocation.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an industrial environment.
  • Proven experience of Electrical/mechanical Services Systems Maintenance.
  • Previous supervisory and management experience in a customer focussed environment required.
  • Experience of opening and plotting engineering drawings using MiCad/AutoCad.
  • Electrical/Mechanical underpinning knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety.
  • Working knowledge of relevant current legislation and guidance.
  • Quality Electrical work. Fault finding, Installation and maintenance.
  • Proven people/ staff supervisory skills.
  • Good IT skills
  • Good drafting, interpersonal and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to evaluate and solve problems in situ
  • Ability to work on own initiative without Supervision.
  • Ability to work to deadlines

Job summary
