An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to work in ICU/HDU.
Enthusiastic and highly motivated applicants are required to join the existing team who can help shape the future of Critical Care within this Trust.
Applicants will need GCSE grade 4 or above in Mathematics and English (or functional skills or equivalent) and NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a motivated person who has excellent communication skills with the ability to work both as part of a team and independently in supporting patients with minimum 6 months of current care experience.
Although not essential, having experience in critical care setting would be advantageous.
Our 12 bedded mixed Intensive Care Unit/High Dependency Unit has a commitment to high standards of care and continued learning and can offer the successful candidates a new challenge with tremendous job satisfaction in a friendly and well supported environment. The unit also operates a 12 hour shift system.
